The World Best Player Award is handed out in December, meaning in your first season you only have half a season to impress enough to get the award. On Beginner level, the COM’s kick-offs are extremely predictable. If you charge down a defender from kick-off, you can often steal the ball immediately from the opposition’s kick-off and score every time. If you don’t play a match, you will probably get a 6.5 rating. Choosing a CF in a weak team makes it harder to get assists since your team mates don’t score every time and can’t set you up consistently. Choosing a CF in a strong team makes this easier. You will definitely achieve at least an 8.0 and usually a 9.0 if you score four goals, make two assists and don’t get booked, sent off or substituted. The maximum player rating you can get in a match is 9.0. The remaining three achievements are won by completing the season, getting good ratings each match and scoring lots of goals. Play the first match of the game mode to unlock your first of four BAL achievements.
